What uc is a match for me?

-no ecs
-620(lit)600(bio) SATII
-? SAT reasoning test (take it in two weeks) im hoping for 1800-1900
-first generation/low income/father not in life/attended over 15 schools
-cali resident
-competitive highscool (1890 API)
-ranked 118/431
-very hard sceudal the past 3 years
-took ap bio and history test this year and they went great</p>

<p>which of the ucs seem to be matches?(if any?)
im eventually want to go into premed?
also
i was kinda interested in the university of miami or florida?</p>

<p>By matches i assume that you mean that the UCs in which you have a favorable chance of getting in.</p>

<p>I would say Davis, Riverside, Merced, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, or Irvine are certainly within reach.</p>

<p>It depends on the budget and the cutbacks…this year was harsh. I had about the same stuff as you this year with lots of ec’s and didn’t get in to 3/3 UCs I applied for. UCSD, UCSB, UCI. </p>

<p>Merced will take just about anybody though…but I live in the central valley where Merced is located and we like to call it merDEAD…very crime ridden. I would not reccommend you apply there…</p>

<p>I believe your stats are even too low for Davis, Irvine, and SB at this point. Certainly SC soon, but if you get around 2000 on your SAT I, you’ll have a decent shot. I believe its 3.92~4.01 for the middle tier UCs this year and 1800+ SATs? Just try and get a high SAT and finish off this year with good marks.</p>
