What undergraduate film schools do I stand a chance of gaining admission from?

I am currently a Junior in High School. I am on track to receive a weighted GPA of 4.25 and an unweighted GPA of 3.85 for this year. I received a 3.81 weighted and 3.62 unweighted GPA last year. What truly concerns me is my Freshman year. I received a 2.65 unweighted GPA and 2.65 weighted GPA. Although I have a somewhat adequate reason for performing poorly (out with a rare strain of mono for 2+ months) I'm afraid what effect this may have on any application I submit. Overall, the aforementioned credentials leave me with a 3.57 weighted and I believe an approximate 3.37 unweighted GPA overall, much lower than I would like to have or would have if my illness had not befallen me. I have a 33 ACT composite score and a 2150 SAT score as well. I have written 10+ short films, 7 of which I have produced either on my own time or in my school's IB Film program. Of course my top choices would be USC, UCLA, and NYU. I'm also looking at Chapman, Northwestern (I live in the midwest), and whatever other school anybody here might have to suggest. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I am a student so I clearly don’t have much insight in the area of admissions other than personal experience. Since you are interested in an art major (particularly interested in top schools in that major) I am sure your talent will play a major factor if not more important than your academics. Concerning your academic credentials I would say there is no need to stress over it too much. Clearly from your SAT/ACT scores and recent GPA you are a hardworking, motivated, and smart student. I am sure the admissions officers will see that. Again, anything could happen but you are certainly in the right position to contend for spots in any one of those schools. Hope that helps!!
