If you’re ok taking a gap year, you may want to consider that, you may be able to improve your gpa by taking classes at a cc, and you can get your applications in order, maybe intern at a company. If not and you can get in to any of the schools you listed, you’re still in good shape.

Taking college courses after high school graduation would not be a gap year. It would be choosing the transfer pathway.
I meant taking a couple of classes here and there, not doing it full-time for one or two years than transferring.
A couple of college courses here and there after high school graduation risks losing eligibility to apply to colleges as frosh, though the exact rules vary from one college to another.
