My dream schools are;

The University of Michigan, Wayne State (direct-med), Baylor (direct-med), Johns Hopkins, UPenn, UChicago, NYU

I hope to study Biology, Public Health, or cognitive Sciences.

Do I have a chance at some of these schools, and what are some other schools I could get into with these Stats?

Thank you!

A few questions before I give my opinion:

Are you a rising junior? Or have just finished junior year? Confused
What is your estimated class rank? The schools will be able to figure it out, so an estimate would be nice.
Do you need financial aid?
Are you URM or ORM?
Have you done any physician shadowing?
It looks as if you are pre-med, is that correct?
Are you good enough at LAX to get recruited by college coaches?

I am a rising Junior, sorry should have made that clear. I am wondering what more I could do to spice up my resume and make myself look interesting to colleges next year when I apply.
My estimated class rank is probably the top 10-15%?
I am not sure about financial aid either.
I am Asian Indian so ORM.
I look to shadow following the pandemic.
Yes, I am interested in Pre-med.
I could probably play rec Lax at a smaller college. I don’t think I am good enough to play for any of the schools I listed.

Based on your career goals you may want to search “The 25 Best Colleges for Pre-Meds” as a source of ideas for colleges to research further.

The dual BA/MD programs will be tough if you’re ranked at the lower end of top decile. But if your rank places you in top 1-2% you’ll be in good shape. Only thing missing is the lack of shadowing experience. But you have some time to gain that experience. I also don’t see any laboratory based research experience. The combined programs also like that.

Have you thought about approaching the LAX coaches at the D3 programs? Some of them like UChicago and NYU might give you a serious look. Mainly because your scores are so high. If so then gather up some of your game footage and send it to the coaches along with a sports resume. You might end up being a bench warmer, but at least it can help during admissions.

Make sure you have a serious discussion with parents about how much they are wiling to spend. Better to have this discussion up front instead of later. I know of many kids who get into their dream school only to find out that their parents can’t afford it. Run the EFC calculator on each of the schools. You’ll need details on your parents income to run the numbers.
