I have completed two semesters with 33 credits in overall. Since I’m planning to move to the USA, I would like to change my university. What universities should I apply to with my current circumstances? I would like to apply as a freshman, if possible, but transfer admission is okay. I’ve turned 18 just 4 days ago.
My profile:
CGPA: 3.12/4.00
SAT: 1540/1600
SAT II: Math 1 - 790, Math 2 - 790, Physics - 740 (taken during high school, Should I retake them to get better results?)
IELTS: 7.5, has already expired. Planning to score 8.0 on the upcoming test.
IB: 36 (Math HL, Physics HL, Russian A SL - 6, English A SL, ITGS SL, History HL - 5)
High-school GPA (national diploma): 4.91/5.00
Many extracurricular activities in sports and music, as well as 1 internship at admissions department, 1 part-time job.
Expected to be involved in a research work. Many awards during high-school.
Your goal is too vague. You have to tell us what your current major is, what you are pursuing, exactly where are you moving to in the United States, etc.
If you have 33 credits of college work done then you will not be a freshman but a transfer.
Where do you attend currently?
There is no “starting over” once you have started taking college courses outside of HS, so you will be a transfer.
Are you a US Citizen or a citizen of another country?
Do you have money tp pay for college?
Civil Engineering.
I’m not a US citizen.
Somewhere near NY =)
yes, I can afford to pay up to 60 000 USD per year. I am interested in the most prestigious universities that I can get into with my results
