Hey guys, what are the top 5-10 universities in Canada for molecular biology?
(for undergrad) I have the hopes of applying to an American grad school (like harvard/MIT) afterwards, so research opportunities and school reputation also matter.

If you’re deadset on doing undergrad in Canada, you might want to look at UBC, U of Toronto and McGill. These are the premiere universities in Canada for biomedical sciences.

Yea man, I didn’t write the SAT’s and I don’t have many extracurriculars so undergrad at a top American school is pretty much out of the question =

All the extracurriculars I have can’t be quantified; playing in a rock band, working out consistantly for years, hiking and **** like that…

I have a 98 avg though (math/english/phsyics/bio/chem) so I’m pretty sure no canadian school would turn me down…

Out of UBC/mcgill/U of T which would be best for molecular biology do you think?

I would choose Mcgill (though, I don’t know much about UBC).
I dare say it is the strongest in sciences in Canada.
btw, I live in Toronto and the reputation of Mcgill is better than that of U of T.

Frankly, I would say deciding between these three on the basis of their depth in molecular bio is a bit like splitting hairs. They all have their strengths and weaknesses but all will provide a world class education and research opportunities with faculty that will be well known in the US.
