Thanks for the info. My S still holding out hope.
Skidmore is fully enrolled.
Any updates from Trinity College (CT)?
Cornell ILR just admitted someone off the WL (from CC Cornell)
Reddit reports movement for UC Davis, CMU SCS, Syracuse. Also that Chicago has sent rejection letters to people previously wait-listed.
UChicago waitlist threads confirm that rejection letters sent out this afternoon. Not sure if that’s for everyone or not; however, everyone seemed to be expecting some sort of definitive word by today.
This was posted on Wake Forests admissions blog on 5/2
At this time, we are not reviewing applications and have no immediate plans to admit additional students off of our active wait list.

Is it a good sign if your regional admissions counselor responds to your emails?
I don’t know how to post in a way that maintains the formatting, but I’ve seen two CC posts (including here in this thread) referencing Wesleyan’s active wait list. Someone should add that to the list.
@CardinalBobcat is correct.
From another thread posted tonight
“OP" here again to say that she’s been given until mid-week to decide. Meanwhile, now has a voicemail from Wesleyan, which I neglected to list earlier as a waitlist for her. “
why is wake forest on the WL. I don’t think they have an active waitlist.
@hcmom65. I thought I had heard of a WL for WF earlier but was mistaken. This thread also lists those schools that are NOT going to WL. As @lbf referenced above, WF has no plans to admit off of the WL.
WF is on the list in multiple categories at the moment.

If a school isn’t on the list what do we think that means? They haven’t figured out yet if they need to use the waitlist? Is it more likely at this point that they will not?
Who knows anything about Wellesley’s waitlist?
If a school is not on the list then it means there is no information yet - we don’t know if/when they will go to their WL.
UMich doesn’t appear to have gone to their waitlist yet and they’re telling waitlisted students that they “do not typically admit students from the waitlist until late June.”
NYU’s waitlist is moving. Likewise Vassar, Cornell CALS (possibly Cornell CAS as well).
