What was/is Your High School Science Sequence?

Freshman: Biology
Sophomore: Chemistry
Junior: AP Biology, AP Physics 1
Senior: AP Chemistry, AP Physics C: Mech

For the whole school:
Fresh: Physical/Earth Science, Biology
Soph: Biology, Chemistry A, Chemistry, Physics
Junior: AP Biology, Physics, AP Physics 1, AP Environmental
Senior: All of Junior classes along with AP Physics C:Mech and AP Chemistry

9th: Honors Physical Science
10th: AP Biology
11th: AP Physics
(Hopefully can do honors chemistry over summer)
12th: Honors chemistry (possibly AP Chemistry)

My high school was weird. Every one took:
9th: “Integrated Science 1”, which was really a semester of physics followed by a semester of chemistry
10th: “Integrated Science 2”, which was really a semester of biology followed by a semester of earth/space science

After that, there was some flexibility. For my junior & senior years I took Physics, and I ended up taking both of the AP Physics C exams.

9th: H Biology
10th: H Chemistry
11th: AP Physics 1
12th: AP Physics 2

9th: H Biology
10th: H Chemistry
11th: DE Geophysics (literally the only science available to me because of my schedule… wanted to take IB Physics)
12th: Hopefully IB Physics!

9th: Biology
10th: hopefully Chem + Phys
11th: either bio+chem or chem+phys at university (no AP classes), maybe research (if offered)
12th: some combination of more advanced chem/phys/bio at university, maybe research (if offered)

9th: Biology
10th: Chemistry
11th: AP Chemistry and AP Physics 1
12th: AP Biology and AP Physics Mech and E&M

me:
8th: biology
9th: chemistry honors
10th: ap physics b
11th: ap biology
12th: hl and ap chemistry
I took ap biology in 11th to fulfill my life science requirement, since I bypassed the 9th grade biology that most others take.
most other students:
9th: biology (honors or not)
10th: chemistry (honors or not)
11th: ap or sl science of choice, or no science
12th: ap, sl, or hl science of choice, or no science

9th Grade: Pre-IB Biology I
10th Grade: Chemistry Honors
11th Grade: AP Physics I
12th Grade: AP Physics II

9th: Honors Biology
10th: Honors Chemistry
11th: AP Physics 1
12th: AP Physics C: Mechanics and E&M

9th and 10th grade we have to stick with normal science courses

9th: Physical Science
10th: Biology
11th: AP Biology + Chemistry
12th: AP Chemistry + Physics

9th: Biology Honors
10th: Chemistry Honors
11th: AP Biology
12th: Physics Honors

9th: Honors Biology
10th: Honors Chemistry
11th: AP Chem/AP Physics 1
12th: AP Bio (AP Comp Sci, but I think that’s considered a math class)

9: Honors Biology
10: Chemistry 1
11: AP Chemistry
12: AP Physics 1 and APCS

This is what my guidance counselor laid out for me. It is mandatory to take 2 years of science to graduate.

9th: Honors Biology
10th: AP Chemistry
11th: AP Biology
12th: AP Physics 1

The only other AP science class offered is APES.
Though, most students at my school take:
9th: Physical Science
10th: Biology
11th: AP or Regular Chemistry
12th: APES, AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Physics, physics, environmental science, or science electives

9th: Honors Bio and Honors Chem
10th: Honors Anatomy and AP Environmental
11th: AP Physics 1
12th: Undecided, depends on how I feel about Physics 1. I will take 2 out of these 3: AP Physics 2, AP Biology, and Dual Enrollment Anatomy

9th: Biology
10th: Chemistry
11th: Environmental Science
12th: Physics

I’ve gone on a slightly different track than many at my school.
The general looks like this:
9th - Biology
10th - Chemistry
11th - Physics
12th - AP Biology/ AP Chemistry/ AP Physics C/ AP Environmental Science

Here’s mine:
9th - Biology + Chemistry
10th - Physics
11th - AP Physics C
12th - AP Chemistry

Not entirely sure about the senior year science… I may just take a DE physics course if I don’t feel up to Chem

9th - Bio (Required)
10th - Finishing Honors Chem. this year
11th - Planning to take AP Bio and APES
12th - Planning to take AP Chem and AP Physics

I really like science and want to apply to a combined BA/MD program at schools like Brown, Wash U, Northwestern so I have to take all of these classes if I want to even be seriously considered ( the program at Wash U has something like a 1% acceptance rate)
