So, I became friends with a girl at my high school this year. She gave me her phone number and would invite me out a lot throughout the year. During the last weeks of school, we seemed to talk less. On the last day of school, I slowly walked past her. I was going to say hi, but she pretended not to see me and started a conversation with a person walking behind me.</p>

<p>Generally, I believe that when a girl ignores she either likes you or does not want to talk to you. Because we had not talked much lately what could it mean?</p>

<p>I’d say you stop overanalyzing the incident, and go confront her. She could have really not seen you. Or maybe you’re coming on too strong, she really likes you, or you (unintentionally) did something wrong. There could be a lot of possibilities. So talk to her, and let me know how it turns out! :)</p>

<p>Perhaps I am overanalyzing this incident. I think I am going to ignore it and wait for her to talk to me, which I doubt will happen soon. If I confront her, she will think I was bothered because I like her, which is more-or-less true.</p>

<p>I called her on the phone and told her about my plans for the summer. She was kind and said she was proud of me, but did not seem to enthusiastic. I thought confronting her would be too awkward for her, so I did not. Its is probably her way of signaling that she doesn’t want to be my friend.</p>
