What was the difference between what you thought you got and your actual score?

What you thought you got:
Actual Score:
Why?

First time thought: Under 2300
Actual: 2250

Second: Low 2300’s
Actual: 2360

I tend to be a pessimist.

Thought: 2300
Actual: 2400

The chance of getting a 2400 is statistically insignificant.

Thought: 2030(due to a practice test taken)
Actual: 1950(basically wanted to die)

To be honest I don’t know what happened.

I thought 2050
got 2030

Bump…

Thought: 2300
Actual: 2210
Mostly because of the essay

Thought 2280

Actual: 2250

1 silly math mistakes && 1 sentence completion mistake.

1st time
thought: 1800, maybe 1850, HOPEFULLY somewhere in the 1900s if im lucky
what i got: 2040
2nd time
thought: damn, ill be lucky if I did as good as last time… im screwed. never thought of an actual number bc I was sure I did worse so I didnt bother
what i got: 2160

i think the lesson I learned is never be too smug. always walk in with confidence, but don’t be in over your head. prepare properly and keep to yourself. im not saying you should sell yourself short, but all i’m saying is I’ve seen a lot of cocky people get slapped in the face by reality

Bump…

what i thought I got: 2050
what i really got: 2210

Thought: 2110.
Got: 2120.
