What was the happiest moment of your life?

Happiest or proudest

When someone looked up to me. I’m known for screwing up, but there was this one friend and he said: “You’re the best in the world” It may not seem much, but it did to me.

I don’t know about my whole life but I was pretty happy when I got into college!

All those pre-8th grade Saturday mornings where I would get downstairs at 7:30 (I couldn’t sleep in!) and play on either my gameboy, my computer, or watch TV for hours without a care in the world. Cliche? Yes, but true.

^ Those were the best and most relaxing times of my life then…

Happiest single moment: When I got accepted to Cornell University

Saddest single moment: When I was forced to withdraw my acceptance from Cornell due to financial aid.

Probably when we placed really high in our big marching competition this year because we all worked so hard for months and it was really great to see it pay off.

Hmmm… Can’t remember. I guess it was when people was looking to me for help in Chemistry A

Every time I play in or help organize a concert, I feel connected to my friends, my community and the music I love. It’s amazing.

When I was accepted to NYU :)

And when I found a Chinese food place that delivers.

cortana431: WHAT! :open_mouth: That must be awful. Have you tried writing to the fin aid office about your situation?

Happiest moment was seeing my best friend after three years apart.

Come to think of it, none of my academic achievements would make it to my list of happiest moments. SAT score, published research, competitions, or 4.0 GPA–none of those things are my priorities in the big picture.

The happiest moment of my life (so far!) was last year at prom. My boyfriend and his friend went to go get the cars and my bf bffs gf (who was also my friend) stayed inside cuz it was raining.

We were standing by glass that had basically become a mirror and we were admiring our reflections and dresses. We had poofy dresses and so we started spinning around. We were cracking up and spinning and eventually we fell down laughing.

It seems like a silly thing, but I was so happy. I had a great night, my bf and I were crazy for each other, I was finally a part of a social group after being displaced the whole year after my 2 bffs moved. Everything was just right for those couple minutes.

^AWWWWW
Mine is when I got Straight As last semester!!!

I knew all the letters and could sound out words pretty early, but I didn’t enjoy reading at all. It was extremely hard.

Eventually, when I was around 5 or 6, my mom figured out that my eye muscles were weak, and I received muscle training for them from some doctor. I don’t really remember much other than that I had to track objects with my eyes a lot.

Afterwards, I could read. When I figured out that I wasn’t stupid, and when I read my first book-- it’s hard to beat that feeling.

Oh, another thing is when I realized my Hepatitis B was acute/temporary and not permanent!! I just hope it doesn’t kick up and become chronic. Otherwise, I would be free of HepB for life :D

And also when I found out my father was recovering from an evil disease!!

Whenever I am working with computers (makes me very happy)

Whenever I’m in a bad mood these things would make me feel a lot better. And as long as I do what I love :)

I don’t have a single happiest moment. But looking back I was my happiest in 8th grade. I just remember wondering around the museum of natural history with my friends and they were laughing at me because I was so deeply admiring everything. I don’t know, I just loved the feeling of having friends so close that would make fun of you until you started laughing yourself.

I also remember sneaking out for the first time and my friends and I thought we were so bad haha and as we were jaywalking I accidentally called my mom as cars were honking. And we collapsed on the side of the road laughing at how ofcourse I would accidentally call my mom at 2AM as we were crossing the street. The next day I had a lot of persuading to do haha.

I don’t know little things like that just made me really happy and I didn’t have too much on my mind at that time.

When the first few people (including my mom and best friend) still accepted me after I came out to them… Well, technically I probably felt more relieved than happy, but it was still a great feeling.

Winning mock trial worlds. We were all so overtired and exhausted and I was sobbing so much surrounded by people who i spend all my time with. Then we were hugging and screaming, I’ve never been in anything like it.

Meeting my boyfriend of 2 years and gettin accepted to the same college

when I graduated middle school

These are all great to hear especially in these stressful college times let’s keep this going !
