what was the very FIRST score you received on a practice SAT?

My first practice SAT was a 1560 (800M, 760V, if I recall). This was back in the day, however (i.e. before the new SAT).

1220 (old SAT..PSAT score was the same as my first SAT score...both times).. 570V 650M...., second time... 590V, 630M. sad... lol...first SAT score.. 610/610.... 2 tries later 1500..(740V, 760M( Shruggles...

my first practice test was about 1980

1230 on the old sat (about the same score on math and verbal, i think, but it was a long time ago so i don't really remember).

1130 (620 math 510 verbal) when I did the practice test they sent you when you registered for the sat (old). That was when I was in 7th grade. I scored a 1290 on the real test though :D

First Practice: 1930
Hard Studying
Second Practice: 1970
Hard Studying
Third Practice: 1990
Hard Studying
1st Real SAT (3/05): 1990
Prep for AP's, no SAT studying
2nd Real SAT (5/05): 2180

So the key is to NOT study or practice :)

First Practice: 1480
Last Practice: 1600
Real Score: 1570

old sat

1150---middle school (Oh and the OLD sat)

1000 in 7th grade on the old SAT without preparing a single bit.

My first exposure to the SAT was in 7th grade for Duke TIP-- 1240 (690 V, 550 M).

I'm not sure about the Duke Talent Search or the UCI Talent Search, but the John Hopkins Talent Search used real SAT's (to the best of my knowledge).

6th grade I got a 1300 (660M, 640V)

Sorry, I should have clarified. The test for Duke was a real SAT, but since I took it so young it doesn't appear on my current score report. I've never taken a practice SAT test.

"I'm not sure about the Duke Talent Search or the UCI Talent Search, but the John Hopkins Talent Search used real SAT's (to the best of my knowledge)."

UCI & Johns Hopkins use the same test, I believe. UCI's was real, because we could choose to keep it on our SAT record. (Besides, it qualified me for SET, so...)

1120, 7th grade, Johns Hopkins Talent Search.

Took my first practice SAT maybe a month or two ago. It was the free new one from www.collegeboard.com. I took it timed, but not on a Saturday/Sunday morning. I got a 2190, 680 CR/800 W/710 M. For the essay I had a high school English teacher read it, and she said she was wavering between a 5 and a 6, so I gave myself the 5.
