<p>I was accepted to UCF for Summer 2011 as a freshman about 2 weeks ago. UCF didn’t require essays, but personal statements. The two topics I chose were what obstacle I’ve overcome throughout the years and why I chose UCF.
I wrote about being an overweight child and losing all the weight as my obstacle, and I wrote about choosing UCF because of its Hospitality Management program and my love for theme parks.
I think the most important thing is to prove yourself to the school- why you deserve to go there, and why they deserve to have you. Good luck!</p>
