What was your favorite thing about college?

I'm a high school senior. I'm just wondering what everyone enjoyed about college?

so far… the freedom…it’s amazing to get to plan your own schedule without having a guardian tell you what you can/cannot do or when you can/cannot do it.

^Yeah i’m a Sophmore so my answers will probably have changed in a few years, but right now the freedom to do whatever i want, go wherever I want and lead the life I want is the best thing about college. Also the general feeling in the air that i’ll only be here once and that I should try new things.

Having everyone around your own age and of similar interests. The freedom for me as well, especially going to university in the UK.

I’m gueesing those of u who said the freedom don’t work??? Cus working while in school doesn’t really leave u with much freedom

Um, there is plenty of freedom even if you work. It’s not like you’re either in class or working 24/7.

There’s also a difference between being free to do things and having the freedom to do things.

Hi hater!

How is that hating? I’m just stating the truth

I liked the chance to reinvent myself. I liked the chance to learn things I didn’t even know I was interested in.

being around college aged people who like to do college aged things.

Being exposed to fields I had never heard of before- and then finding people who actually share that bizarre passion!

Living on my own and always having interesting things to read.

I get to live the life I always wanted to live, simple as that.
