<p>Just curious...who actually kind of LIKED writing their essay or how it turned out? Was the prompt interesting? I remember reading something about how one of UChicago's topics was on super-huge tubs of wholesale mustard.</p>
<p>Well as a transfer applicant I didn't really have the greatest diversity in terms of topics. Basically explaining the "Why" of transfer over again. Though I did like Stanford's short essays of 'Intellectual Vivacity' 'What's the greatest challenge facing the world' and 'Note to your future roommate'. Just a few characters but fun.</p>
<p>NYU's felt way too hippie for me.</p>
