Sky: ETA meaning? :S

^ Edited to Add

My question was:

What motivates you?

I guess my application answered it; I was accepted!

Mine was “If you had the ability to do something no one else could do, what would you like it to be?”

I took the UChicago approach and asked “How far would you go?”

Peachsnapple, I used the same question. ■■■.

Lol.

“About what aspect of college life are you most apprehensive?”

Haha I feel like my question is such a downer compared to all yall’s :P

“If you are not admitted to Yale, will you regret the sacrifices you made along the way?”

I said: “What is your favorite thing to think about?”
Lame. I wish I’d thought of something clever. XD

…I also included my answer. :P

“Are you applying to Harvard?”

“What is your opportunity cost of attending Yale?”

Mine is: If all laws were suspended for a day, what would you do and what do you think the resulting society would be like?

Mine is lame. Ugh.

What would be track one on the soundtrack to your life?

@Xombi
haha I was EA so I came first
I’m sure it won’t matter

good luck to all!

Thanks. :)

Congrats on getting in by the way!

wow i seriously love all these questions you guys are so funny and creative!
mine was like, if you could create your own perfume to reflect your personality what would it smell like, what would its advertisement slogan be, and what would be its name?

If you had to write a poem about Yale, what would the first stanza be?

I figured it would let the Yale adcoms see how creative we all are and perhaps get a good laugh out of it too.

“Should cockroaches go extinct? Why or why not?”
Stupid question, but it seemed clever at the time.
I was tempted to post the exact same question that they asked (If you were choosing students to form a Yale class…) then I saw “that we have not” and was like, drat…

Deferred early unfortunately but I took what I perceived to be a big risk with this question.

“In order to get a sense of the student’s thought process and incorporate the student viewpoint I’d ask ‘what is your opinion on affirmative action and why?’”

was that just stupid of me?

^ That’s a pretty touchy subject and probably something you shouldn’t have written for your question.

Mine was:

“If we were to establish a new residential college, in whose honor would you name it and why?”

I love everyone’s! Here’s mine:

Your familywrote A.A. Milne, like every other, has a language of its own: obscure allusions and well-tried but not intrinsically humorous family jokes. Tell us about yours.

“Summarize The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire”
