What was your question?

Some of these are sounding very well-thought out indeed… good job everyone! I did not think to come up with such a unique answer :frowning: does this sound too generic and fourth grade-ish??

“What do you hope to gain from your individual college experience?”

Mine was “What do you fear most?”

Hahaha! Gibbon?

Recall a recent dream. What makes it particularly memorable?

…talking about subconscious thoughts/imagination

Almost put:

What’s your favorite joke?

“Briefly tell us why you deserve a Yale education.”----that wasn’t my question though

i can think of more right now:

If Handsome Dan were to retire, what would you want to be the new mascot and why?

What makes you special?

I shouldv’e asked, “What question would you not have wanted us to ask you?”

My question:

You have just started a scholarship foundation in your name. What would the award stand for and what would be the criteria for selection of the ideal candidate?

If you could be the parent of anybody (living or dead), whose parent would you be? Why?

I asked this question because I always wondered about the parents of famous people in world history…what must of been like watching them grow up.

Mine was pretty generic too. =(
I asked
What are your sources of inspiration?

Now that I think about it, I would have liked to ask something like
If you could start a nonprofit organization, who would your charity help?

While successes have proven valuable learning experiences, it is through your failures that you emerge a changed individual. What is a failure of particular significance to you?

i think it was better that you didn’t ask this. this question would’ve been too kiss-assy/ “i do community service for my resume”

I disagree with pigs. I think that would be an excellent question and would reveal more personal aspects of candidates.

that type of question is a bit cliche

mine was something along the lines of this:
Suppose Yale had its own college admissions “classified” ad section. How would you describe and market yourself?

^ lol the answer would be “see my app”

haha really? i’d try to make mine at least in some way entertaining!

What are the uses of a tarp?

I mentioned that I’d use it as a makeshift cape and fashion statement.

If you are accepted, will you reject an acceptance from Harvard?
