<p>@industriel: Yeah I think they do, unless english isn’t your first language, then sometimes schools give allowance in critical reading and writing, but math definitely there isn’t any difference. If you’re international applying for financial aid, you’d probably need a much higher score since it’s much more competitive.</p>

<p>Depends on your major, but I think that may be on the low end of things. I’d say at least a 32 composite to be on the safer side.</p>

<p>I’m doing EECS major. I’ll try to raise my Act and Sat scores. I have a 4.0 (GATECH) GPA btw.</p>

<p>I’d say ECE and CS are two of the most competitive programs at GA Tech so you should try to aim for a 2100+ on the SAT at least or a 34 on the ACT</p>

<p>^donsun: I thought ga tech disregards choice of major on the application? Like it’s not a factor that affects admission decisions, even if some programs are more competitive than others</p>

<p>According to the freshman admission report from Tech’s IRP, Tech only takes SAT CR+Math into consideration. SAT Average for 2012 Fall is 1406, SAT Median 1410 and SAT 25th-75th ranges from 1340-1480. </p>
