What was your SAT vs ACT score?

Mine is really unbalanced. I got a 24 on the ACT, but a 2050 (1430 CR+M) on the SAT. It's strange, because apparently math people do better on the ACT, but I did much better on the SAT.

How do your scores compare? What do you think explains the differences in your scores?

2120 SAT (700 CR, 690 M, 730 W) and a 33 ACT (34 S, 35 R, 34 E, 29 M)

The science section absolutely makes a difference! Plus a lot of people find the ACT easier- I spent months studying for the SAT and only took a couple practice tests for the ACT the week beforehand, and did a lot better on the ACT. Math will always be my weakness though :)

My daughter, a senior, had a 34 on the ACT and 2270 on the SAT – I think the SAT score equates to a 35 on the ACT so it’s possibly considered a little higher, but she submitted both scores to universities. She had a 36 on the ACT Science and Reading and she intends to major in science, so it seemed appropriate to submit the scores along with SAT.

33 - composite, 33.75 - “superscore”
1990 - SAT superscore
for some reason SAT Math kills me every time, ACT was a LOT easier for me

Same problem with me:
ACT 27 (31 English, 27 Math, 23 Science lol, 28 Reading)
SAT 2090 (670 Writing, 740 Math, 680 Reading)

I got a 2400 on the SAT. I never took an official ACT, but I did take a Kaplan SAT/ACT combo prior to my actual SAT, and they predicted a an overall score of 33 on the ACT for me (31 Science and Reading, 35 English and 36 Math). I always thought the ACT was a lot harder than the SAT, especially the science section (granted, I never did any serious studying for the ACT).

I got 35 on ACT (35 E, 36 M, 34 R, 35 S), and only 2130 on the SAT (670 R, 800 M, 660 W)

Dealing with words and tricky grammatical errors are my weakness, so the ACT is much easier compared to the SAT

2180 SAT and 30 ACT :(
