<p>We're doing college essays in English class and I was wondering if someone would be willing to tell me what the topics were for PSU. </p>
<p>I know I can get them by completing a portion of the online application, but my parents don't want me to do that yet. Thank you in advance for helping me out!</p>
<p>Admissions essays for "regular" PSU, or for Schreyer Honors? For regular PSU, I don't remember there being any... actually, I think there was one, but it was optional (depending on your stats, I wouldn't worry about it personally). If you're applying to Schreyer also, yeah, expect some essays. ; )</p>
<p>i think it was something along the lines of, "write about your most meaningful high school activity"... i seem to remember spitting something scrawny down about an extracurricular. it just really bites, as it's something like a 500 character limit (ish)...</p>
<p>with that in mind, you might want to try a common app essay (or another school's essay) and just tailor it to the PSU prompt when you apply, as you're (most likely) going to need to butcher it to fit the length limit anyway, and essays tend to be better when you downsize them as opposed to writing them with an ungodly character limit in mind.</p>
<p>i think the optional one was something about what you think you would contribute to the penn state community. the schreyers essays vary every year.</p>
