My SAT was 1920, SAT2s were 700 and 560, GPA ~3.4 unweighted. My UC GPA was probably higher since I took a bunch of community college classes.

There really is no way of determining whether you're safe with UCD or not. I know people from my class with better grades who were rejected from UCD but accepted to everything else (like UCB) they applied to.

When I got accepted to UC Davis in 2006, I had a 3.26 GPA and a 2090 SAT with 610 Math IIC and 580 US History SAT II test scores. Coupled with good extracurriculars and personal statements, I got in.

D1 accepted in 2007 with 3.7uw, 1500 SAT MathII 580, good essay and extra ciric. Not ur or disadvantaged. D2 is ELC and already has letter saying she is accpeted to major of herchoice if she applied, which she did. SAT 1840, ACT 29, Math II 700, Biology 680.

GlueEater, what was it about your essays that you think got you in? Did you overcome a significant hardship? Also, what major did you apply under?

my son just got pre-admission approval (he is going in as a 2010 recruited athlete) and he did not do all that well on Sat... 1770 but his GPA is cumulative 4.3.

mychances. net places me at a 44% admission probability for UCD.

Yea, I messed up majorly my freshman year, and some of that leaked into my sophomore year. I'd rather not post my stats, but I will say my SATs and AP scores are my strongest points, while GPA is my weakest.
