What were your March 12th SAT Scores?

Math: 800 CR: 750 Writing: 800 (80 mult. choice and 12 essay)

1580? I woulda SO kept that. Congrats man, congrats to everyone :)

Khalid, we had the same score last time and similar scores this time...how intriguing...

for those of you that got an 80 grammer sub score, would you mind sharing with us how you prepared? Were you just naturally prepared from previous schooling, or did you use some grammer book or something.

I had a specialized teacher (cheap sessions though) who taught me for a few weeks, but most of it I knew naturally

Cr: 800
W: 800
M: 790
2390

sarorah,

I didn't take the SAT II Writing so I had to take the New SAT for the writing section.

dualityim,

Interesting, what were your scores?

Jan22nd, identical as yours.

March12th, you beat me by 10 points, but the break-down is different. For me it was 800M/800CR/730W.

uhh guys i wouldn't really take azp into credibility, i've seen too many fake "2 posters" like him if you know what i mean..... just shows how some people will go the extra mile to fake you

Beat you!!! na na na na na!! lol, j/k

Did you take the new one for the writing too?

This is a random thought but what if someone were so hooked on getting the ultimate best and only score to show colleges and thus took and retook the test on someone else's name & social security number that didn't give a damn about the test? And then when the person got a good enough score on the other person's slate, they registered for the first time under their name and got an excellent score. Wow I wonder if anyone out there gets away with these things

khalid, I took the new one because my GC told me many schools would not accept the old one, schools such as the UCs (although I don't really have any propensity for going into an UC school). So I took the new one.

Funny I should get the 1600 I've always wanted AFTER they raise the score ceiling to 2400.

Nope, not making anything up.

To study for this, I just take lots of practice tests. Lots and lots of practice tests. And review vocab. And go over grammar rules...All the basics.

P.S. Our school is messed up. I'm not the only 2400...

AZP which tests do you take? collegeboard tests, princeton tests?
Congrats on that 2400! :)

I knew it! See, he wasn't making it up. It's just gay when people do stuff like that, they're not hurting anyone else, only coating their own confidence with lies. By the way, this turned out to be a 'discussion' thread rather than 'what was your score' thread. :p

D: My math was 630... horrible. I'm currently working with Kaplan Math to retake it in June.

640 Math 670 CR 800 Writing (80 MC, 10 essay)

"for those of you that got an 80 grammer sub score, would you mind sharing with us how you prepared? Were you just naturally prepared from previous schooling, or did you use some grammer book or something."
-- For me, the grammar section comes naturally. These are the types of skills that people naturally pick up by ear, but if not, students learn them typically in third or fourth grade. The best way to improve though, as I'm sure you've heard, is to do more practice tests/questions, since the basic concepts won't really change from test to test.

If you go to a boarding school, how would one best find the time to prepare for the SAT? Is there much of a difference between the new test and the old one?

P.S. You people are waaaaaaaay too smart.

This is quite silly. I bet about half of the posters didn't even break 2000 nevermind recieving a rare, perfect, 2400. The percentile is extremely low for the select few and I seriously doubt you guys were able to acomplish it.

That's cuz your stupid, CC has the elite of the elite, and then me... and then you...
