I’m currently in my sophomore year of high school. During the first term I fell into a severe depression and wasn’t even able to pull myself out of my room most of the time. I was in a pretty bad place so I dropped out of school and my grades weren’t too good and I didn’t even complete the first semester credits. But I then went to a homeschooling program and completed my necessary credits for that year there. I’ve gotten somewhat better with my depression and am going to be going back to school next year. The homeschool program will send my school a transcript with my credits. My question is: what will be on my transcript? Is it still going to show the grades from when I dropped out? And if so is there a way to take them off? How will it affect my gpa too, would it replace my failing grades? And how would that look to future colleges? Sorry it’s a lot of questions but I’m just scared and curious on how it’s all going to turn out. Any info is great. Thank you
These are questions you need to ask of whomever is creating and sending the transcript. Homeschool laws vary greatly, and medical leaves/withdrawals can be handled in a variety of ways.
