What will happen if my sat scores are sent late?

Hello, my first post and it's not a good one. I sent my sat scores to about 20 colleges on Dec. 26th, 2010. And the stupid collegeboard website still hasn't shown that the scores have been received by the colleges, which is worrying the hell out of me. Anyways I just realized that most of the colleges have a message "score reports due by Jan -01" Now, does this mean that I should have sent the scores by Jan 1st or that they must have received the scores by Jan 01? If it's the first case, then I'm in perfect shape but if its the latter, then, damn...

Anyways, if my scores ARE late, will the colleges care? I can't imagine them tossing out my entire application just because my scores are late. A few of the schools I am applying to include : NYU, Boston University, Boston College, Fordham Lincoln Center, Brandeis, Stony Brook, Rensselaer, Stevens Institute of Technology, and a bunch of other ones. (I applied REG for all these schools)

Call the admissions departments. I think you should be OK.
