What will happen to my GPA and transcript when I transfer?

I have finished my first year in college now and I'm going to matriculate at another college.
This semeter,I did really bad on my GPA.Not only D's but also F's I received. Will these low marks disapper after I transfer?

It sounds that the second college will drop my low gradesand my gpa will go up

but I still have two quesions
1.Can I ask my current(first)college to delete my failed courses on the transcript this semester(you know..I need this transcript with me when I arrive the new college, they will evaluate how many credits can be transferred). After all,I won't need these credits. But if I delete them,am I against the policy that I should list all my coures taken?

2.
When I apply for a graduate school,do i have to send both of the transcript?
if so,how do they count my GPA?if my physcis in the first college is F,and I retake it in the second college and earn a A.What will happen?is my physics A?Will the former F hurt my admission to graduate school? Will they look at my former transcript? Will they say"send transcripts from all colleges and universities you ever attended?"

Thank you very much in advance!

After you transfe the new schools' transcript won't have the grades that you got in the previous institution but when applying for jobs your employer might ask you for your grades/transcripts then you wud need both of the transcripts. For grad school you will have to send them both transcripts

You can't delete anything on your transcript, it'll be with you for the rest of your life. In your situation, I don't think you will even get credit for your old classes even if you successfully transferred because most colleges and universities require a C or higher in a course to grant you credit.

Yes, you need to send all your transcripts if you want to apply to grad school. Regarding retaken courses, it depends where you retake your class. For example, in UCONN, if you did badly in a class, you can retake the same class at UCONN and get a better grade, the improved grade will be calculated towards your GPA while the lower grade will not, but will still be shown on your transcript. However, if you do not take the course again at UCONN but at a CC, then if you get a C or higher, the credit will transfer as a T, which will eliminate the F, it's like you have taken the course and gotten the credit but your grade won't count for or against you. Occasionally, some schools average the two grades, original and retake.

Don't worry about grad school for now...try to retake the classes if you can during the summer/winter break and do well in your future courses. I feel your pain man, I didn't do well in one of my classes in the first semester as well. Goodluck.

Thank you all!
I think my new college will ask me to retake my physcis since my physcis is only F last semester.I'll try to get a nice grade when I retake the class.I hope my former previous academic record won't hurt me so much.My first semester's GPA is decent while the second is really bad.I guess I still have some time to get a solid academic record before I graduate.

some schools (like the CC i took classes at) let you retake the class and if you get a better grade it won't count in terms of GPA but will still be there
