So, I got in today, and I'm so happy about it. Next semester, I'm taking spanish 3, and I'm pretty much language challenged. I got a C in spanish two and I'm counting on a C in spanish 3. I mean, if UNC is going to revoke my admission for a C in spanish, then I'm screwed. I'm going to work my...off to get a B, but assuming that I just can't do it, what do you think will happen?

I think you'll be FINE with a C in Spanish as long as your other grades are decent. Seriously, I think it takes a LOT for a college to revoke admissions - they know what you're capable and want you, they just don't want you to start failing everything all of a sudden.

one c is fine.

i think i made 1 a, 1 d (but my schools scale was different, so d was 70-74), and the rest b's, and im on scholarship. nothing happened.

however, its best not to push it. i just went to a prison-like high school and couldnt take it anymore.

my advice is to relax, but continue to work relatively hard.

Yeah dude, i have friends that did way worse than that, so i wouldn't sweat it.

My boyfriend still got in with 4 Fs, if that tells you anything.

He had good excuses, though. Just use your charm, and you'll be fine if they say anything.

If you got a C on spanish II, then that sets precedent for you possibly getting a C in spanish III. Don't worry about it.

Ready2, first, congratulations on your acceptance to UNC. Second, You should be fine BUT do not forget that UNC has set a precedent regarding this already. One case of senioritis did have his acceptance revoked for F's and D's and then saw his case laughed out of court when his father tried to sue for reinstatement.

Work hard, do your best and you'll still have time to enjoy your senior year.

You might get a letter telling you to be prepared for the rigorous UNC classes. Other than than I wouldn't worry.

Random off-topic question, but, how difficult in the UNC curriculum? Is it managable?

my feeling is that if you're worrying about it, you probably have nothing to really worry about.
