<p>Obviously money is a big deal, and I don't want to pretend that it isn't. But you should think about the size of each school (and, relatedly, resources available per student) and how that will affect the opportunities you will get as an undergraduate. At MIT or Stanford, there will be more opportunities to be in small classes, to participate in research, and to get attention from professors. At a larger school, it is more difficult to come by those opportunities.</p>
<p>Of course, I will reiterate the standard arguments about fit -- if you like one school better than the others, you should go there. You will be most successful at a school where you're happy.</p>
