What will the admission status be after paying the deposit without attendance?

If you want to defer enrollment, you have to request it and get approved. If your child just doesn’t show up then you should expect colleges to treat that as a rejection of their offer. You’ll lose your deposit and probably forfeit your child’s place in the class.

Adding…you can only deposit at one school (not counting separate housing deposits). So if they don’t go to the deposited school…what is the plan?
