So I think this year’s scenario is different than any other year. We are trying to figure it out. School #1 choice waiting on financial aid appeal, May 1st deadline. School #2/was May 1st but changed to June 1st we did not get a chance to visit but perhaps we could in May if things change. School #3/May 1st.
Reached out to School #1 who said they might not get us an answer by May 1st but could extend their deadline. So in a scenario like this is it frowned upon to put more than one deposit.
We are in the NYC area, which is complicating things. School #1 is utilizing some of its space to help with COVID effort which is slowing things down there I believe. School #2 became a factor when we did the layout of costs based on successful vs unsuccessful appeal. School #3 gave a very reasonable package so I do not want to miss out if #1 doesn’t come through and we get to see #2 and it doesn’t seem like it will work.
