as wonderful as all of your ideas sound, sadly, none of them will be happening for the select few of us......

that have dail-up internet!
Seriously, if I do get in, I will never know, because dail-up will never be able to load any kind of singing/dancing bulldog. ever.

I woud love for that to be true, Lanzabelle (it's the case for my friend who applied ED to Penn...), but I doubt it, because I got a letter from Yale giving me my Eli account ID/password, and it said, "Notification is December 15 for Early Action, March 29 for Regular Decision." Unless, of course, they wanted to surprise us, which I'm all for :p God knows I will be checking the site on the night of the 14th JUST IN CASE ^_^

(also, I had no idea that admission = singing/dancing bulldog online? where did you guys learn that? from peers who've gotten in? or maybe I just didn't pay enough attention at the info session...)

I was thinking about that, too. I think Yale may take (proportionally) more SCEA applicants to boost into early acceptance rate. And it will definitely take more deferees in the regular round to uphold their yield, unless if they see a significant increase in RD applications.

That would be soo awesome if they released decisions on the 14th (seeing as they have fewer applications than before)! I could totally skip school that day.

I'll just pray now... cuz i feel like i'd be jinxing myself if i began talking about what i would do if i got accepted, without even getting accepted first!

ooh, great idea... maybe those lucky CCers who get to celebrate should all just meet up at New Haven that Saturday and celebrate together in person, lol.

I will go find my dog (a golden, not a bulldog) and give him a big hug. I don't know what will happen in the evening--I think planning something with family would be a good idea. I am worried that my best friend and next-door-neighbor and I might not both get in at the same time, which would be icky. I mean, one deferred then admitted, the other outright admitted... since obviously both of us will get in. And then be in the same residential college, since I barely see her while I'm away at boarding school.

I often hear that red bull has bull testerone in it... that's disturbing. I've never had it though, Starbucks/caffeine & sugar basically gets me spazzy enough.

And yes, that would be quite disturbing. But if regular old coffee + sugar does it for you, then I would DEFINITELY try red bull if I were you...it would be spazzy times 10...and who doesn't want that? :)
