Hrm… If I were to be accepted, my exchange student will probably be weirded out by my yelling and running around the house. My problem is, do I ask friends about their decisions or no? Is it rude to put it on facebook?

… We’ll see when the day comes. *knocks on wood

Some people post it on fb. Then they get loads of ‘congrats!’
I guess asking your friends is fine if you know they don’t mind, they won’t be offended.

No one else from my school is really applying, so I think its ok to post it (if the miracle happened) on fb. Also, it saves the time of telling 50+ people if/when they ask.

only a handful of people a year get into ivies,& none are HYP so if i got in, i dont want to come across as arrogant but i will definitely put it up on facebook and if i find out while in school i scream " I GOT INTO YALE" and then start crying from joy in the hallway

but if i were accepted early, i would first shout expletives until i lost my voice. then i’d find a very subtle way to sneak the news onto facebook. like maybe “like” a Yale 2015 page or something. yeah.

thanks! i like making people laugh – but not because they’re happier. makes me feel funny and feeds my self-esteem (happiness is a bonus, though).

hug! i hope you’re not a guy pretending to be a girl [because i prefer hugging girls (i am a heterosexual male)], assuming “perfectpixie” is a girly username. you can’t refuse my cyberhug (like all the girls do in real life). but don’t worry – i am a very attractive, sensitive, and honest young man with great genes and will not hesitate to throw cash at all the problems that may come our way during our marriage. i will also make sure that i cheat so furtively that you will never know. i would never let anything ruin our marriage.

you bring up a good question:

WHAT EXACTLY GOES INTO AN SCEA ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE? A REGULAR DECISION ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE?
