oh and my cats. I always miss my cats.

my friends of course

and the privacy that comes with having my own bedroom, a large quiet basement, and a big backyard where you can escape everyone if you need to

also bubble baths :)

awww, it's sad to think about how many pets all of us will be leaving behind.. :*(

for me? my pet birds, my car (for driving, thinking, and, like one of the posts above, belting out my fav music), my own room, my parent's beautiful backyard pool, my mom's cooking.

i will NOT miss: my hometown, going out somewhere (mall, post office, etc) and having ppl recognize me (due to town's lack of population), and a few other things that i can't think of right now

Well, this is quite simple. Most of all, I'm going to miss my family. It's going to be tough to come home from classes and not be able to hug my mom and dad, or squabble with my little brother.

Secondarily, I'm going to miss singing in the shower and home cooking.

My beautiful city, the wonderful fog, weird cooler weather, being in a car, and "authentic" burritos and Chinese food.

My pets. My friends. My family.
The close-knit community.
Bonfires. The biking trails.
Goofing off in class. Being a high school kid full of excuses.
Walking through the packed hallways maneuvering between kids and playing games like who can freak out the most people, yelling random things out loud, tripping up the steps.
Being 17 - no major consequences for debauchery.
Going to football games and watching the swingband at half time...the rivalry game...UChicago isn't really into that sort of thing :P
Mostly juvenile things, I guess.

your mother

definitely the shower. I stayed at my school for the month of July for this summer program, and the showers were basically :drip drop drip drop:. When I came back and took a REAL shower, it felt beyond amazing.

I will only be about an hour away, so if anything goes astray I can always make that 3pm drive home on Saturday, and come back that night or the next morning

I'll miss the chance to have time alone.

I think I'll miss TV too. Do college students even watch TV regularly?

^well I'll have a TV and cable. I'm pretty devoted to my TV shows so I intend to stick with them as much as possible.

I will miss my family, my yard, my street, my dog, my giant bed, my shower.

I thought I would miss my track team, my HS, my classmates, my teachers, but then since graduation this is totally a non-issue.

My family's cooking. My adorable cousins.
As for highschool, I will miss stargazing with my friends at midnight on the school lawn, going running and biking and playing in the river with them in the Fall and Spring. I will miss going to my advisor in his dorm and tell him all my problems. I will miss my boarding school's teachers, my closest friends, and the valley in which it was located.

I'll miss my 3-man posse. We were almost too close.

Parents, the great group of friends I have, my kitty. :(

Comfort, ease-of-living, the familiar.

I'm so scared.

i also miss the privacy of having my own bathroom
and my friends of course...

my mom
my auntie
I MIGHT miss my brothers...maybe
my room
family parties
good food
being able to do things when I want in my room without worrying about what a roomate wants to do
privacy

truest me all.....if u r homesick (which everyone goes thru basically for a while at least)...u'll miss pretty much ANY TANGIBLE thing! haha......like from the smallest comforts u had to the biggest...just give urself time..and get involved. talking abt what u'll miss don't help in adjusting i think! :D

Driving around town without a care in the world.

My close group of friends, and my collection of books. Sure, there's a library, but I can't abuse the their books.

I'll miss my family and dog, and the access to stuff to cook with. I'll also miss my plants, but I'm gonna try to take them.

I will miss the d bags in high school, no matter how bad they were haha... I miss seeing everyone at school in the hallways and stuff... never again will I see all those people from my senior class since the day of graduation.
