What will you miss the most?

everything.

My Parents, my Sister, My boyfriend, The local restaurant, The Indian monsoon, The festivals, The food..... I guess a lot other things too :(

I am leaving in a week.

its been less than 24 hours since i got home from school. i leave in 11 days.

I'm going to miss my cats...one of my kittes is very old, and I'm afraid that I'm going to get a phone call in college one day telling me that she has passed away. :(

This is a "duh", but I'm going to miss all my friends. I'm going to a womens college and probably won't have the same high school experience of being to hang out with my dorky guy friends, but I know I'll make tons of awesome female friends.

I'm going to plaster my room's wall with photos of home!!

My kitty! She sleeps on my stomach every night, and follows me everywhere.

My family. I'm really close with them, and will miss talking with them every night, watching TV with them, etc.

Choosing my own food. I cook my own breakfast and dinner every night and do my own grocery shopping. I'm not too into the whole dining hall thing.

The TV, and DVR.

My bedroom, bathroom, and privacy.

My city, and everything in it.

The comfort of everything. I really like the routine I'm in now, so it's scary to be leaving it. I bet I'll love college, but it'll be hard having to get into a new schedule, make new friends, etc.

my pup
a month before I ship off to college, the parents tell me that they are giving my pup (Leo) to our cousin...and this is supposed to make me feel better about leaving him???

777LucKee777, why would they do that? D: Why even get him if they knew you were leaving, and they were just going to give him away? That's awfully cold. =[

Definitely my dogs. It's just going to be weird without them.

i'll miss the home-made meals my mom makes every day.

i'll miss my parents, my sister, my pets, and especially the comfortable environment i've grown up in. it's gunna be tough adjusting to a new lifestyle with new people around.

at least i'm fairly close to home (it's what i wanted) like an hour away... so at least i can go back when i need to :)

Cooking my own food, playing my music really loud, my own shower/bathroom, my mother, my friends [it took me 4 years to get them], being able to sit alone and do nothing, my books, the middle of nowhere.

Last year when I started school, there was so much I missed:

my bed
excellent cell phone coverage
driving
seeing my family whenever i wanted
the carefree routine of high school
house parties
football games
sneaking out, although i definitely enjoyed the new freedom
real food
easy access to a mall
a mac store
the lake
having a swimming pool
helping my mom wrap christmas gifts
CABLE TV
living in the country, hated the city life
babysitting, surprisingly
country music
the relaxed feeling of being in my own house
cooking/baking
having my best friend come over and hang out on a whim
privacy, more than almost anything...

My mom, my sister, my friends, my king sized bed, my bathroom, my pets, and my car.

family, home cooking, my best friend, how easy/carefree h.s. really was, having my own room/private space

i'm absolutely terrified to go to college

Nearly everyone I've talked to that's moving away for college is "jumping out of their skin" because of excitement. I'm not feeling that way... at all.

Yeah, I am somewhat excited for a change, but it is going to be really tough. I'm going to miss my dogs and cats, the DVR, privacy, king size bed, parents, friends...

I'm somewhat reserved when it comes to meeting new people, so that's not helping the situation.

I just keep telling myself.. "RELAX. HAVE FUN!"

We'll see how it goes. I leave in five days.

My big bed. I've had a queen size bed (inherited from my parents) since I was four years old. I live on the thing.

Now I'm moving into a dorm with twin sized beds. Help me. xD

i used to have two large rooms. now i'll be living in a triple :/

m 2 best friends from home, football games, parents, & MY DOGS!!!!!!

My HDTV, DVR, and driving around town. Especially my DVR.

^^^ When we vacation in Cali to relatives, they ALL have satellite and DVR and that makes it feel lamer when we get home. >.<

For people who are feeling nervous or sad about leaving home and family, I just want you to know that it really helps to let it out now rather than later. I was feeling really excited and happy, and all of a sudden a few minutes ago, I got really sad and cried. But my mom reminded me of all the good things I have coming my way, and I feel just as good as I did an hour ago. I'm not saying I won't get homesick eventually, but at least not all of my anxiety is pent up anymore.

Have a good cry while you're still around people who won't judge you :)
