Just wondering...because i think this is the worst i may have done

and my 4 free schools getting the scores rush are

Yale
Harvard
Princeton
Stanford

wooohoooooo

wooohoooooo

My GUESS is:
33-34 English
29-31 Reading
32-33 Science
35 Math

So a 32-33ish.

Yeah, I think you would get 33 English, 30-31 Reading, 32 Science, and 35-36 math…so I’d say about a 33

Which sections get the biggest curve? I think I got 35-36 on English and Reading. Science will hover around 32-34, but I didn’t do so hot on math. What if I missed like 5 or 6 questions?

^Math’s curve is generally nice. I’d say like a 32…at the lowest 30.

Has the ACT ever made it where the English section will allow you to miss one and still get a 36?? I got a thirty-five last time, but I reallllly need it to be a thirty-six! Unfortunately, I realized that I totally missed one. ugh! Can I even hope?

Why retake a 35? You’re better off spending your time working on other areas of your app… But best of luck anyway :)

I think (could be wrong) helvetica meant s/he got a 35 english last time, not composite… so maybe s/he did have a decent reason to retake. But yeah, retaking a 35 composite would be ABSURD in my opinion.

can anyone help me?

english: -3 or 4
math: -4 or 5
reading: -5 or 6
science: -6 or 7

^33-34 english
32-33 math
28-29 reading
27-29 science

Like a 30

cj I think that reading curve is a little harsh…I’d put -5 to -6 at 30-31

how bout
-4 math
-8 reading
-6 english
-4 science?

^ that’s probably going to be a 32-34 Math, 28-29 Reading, 30-31 English, and 31 Science…so you should probably be in the low thirties…30 or 31 most likely

lol wait what would
-3 math
-6 english
-4 science
-7 reading be?

Hey! I’m new to this website. Just thought I’d say hi. lol
I was wondering what would
-5 to 8 math
-1 to 5 english
-4 to 9 reading
-4 to 9 science be?
I know these are big ranges, but I want an approximation of what my score might be. Thanks.

To Rawk, I’ve seen a couple math curves -3 is a 35. So hope for that, lol.

Anyway, i’d think…

-3 math = 34 to 35… I don’t see -3 being a 33 this test.
-6 english = 30 to 31
-4 science = 31 to 32
-7 reading be = 29-30

Now to dergrearr

-5 to 8 Math = 30 to 33
-1 to -5 english = 35 to 30
-4 to -9 reading = 26 to 32
-4 to -9 Science = 25 to 32

thanks LMU10. so basically i could get anywhere from a 28 to 33. Let’s hope 30+!

@LM

Why do u think -3 will be 34-35? I didnt think it was that hard

Because. Lately, the math has been a nicer curve. I personally thought this one was easier than the September ACT (my highest score, I got a 32), but I know that one had to have had a nice curve. I did think this one was different though. It was easy, but it had tricky questions. -3 on the April 2009 ACT was a 35.

Also, on the next ACT (June), the -3 math was a 35 as well. And -4 on the English was a 34.

WHAT THE HECK
i never seen such a crazy curve act test before
