What would a college prefer?

I am debating over whether I should take Chinese I or AP computer science next semester
I really am apathetic about the compsci but am excited about chinese. I am taking my spanish 5 AP next semseter also(i really like languages!!), along with 3 other ap classes this year(apush, apenglish, ap psych). my main concern is about the affect it would have on my GPA. If i take a level chinese class I will probably get an A, just a 4.0. I''m going to do compsci no matter what for my tech credit, but my parents were getting mad bc colleges won't see it when I'm applying if idon't take it junior year. they argued that compsci is what is happening in the future and that there are translators so learning languages is unnecessary...

I have about a 3.6-3.7 GPA so i mean there's room for improvement but It's pretty good. I am interesting in international studies and iwould love to work for an NGO in like human rights or something but it is a difficult field to get into so lets just say i'm undecided but i'm am leaning towards liberal arts, definitely not math/sciences. (my parents want me to do pharmacy, good starting salary or whatever)
so the main concern is what would a college want more?! I could take chinese next year too, but what would look better in my junior year. Any other AP classes don't fit in the empty slot.
So what should I do? Chinese or COmputer science??

**sorry for rambling! XP
