I was reading the requirements for college admissions and a lot of them they say they want lab courses for science…
I just wanted to clarify what this meant? I’ve taken chemistry, biology, and environmental science - are these all lab courses?

Your GC or your course catalog will have what courses are considered lab sciences at your school. Bio, chem, and physics are considered lab sciences; astronomy and oceanography are not. Generally, if the course has a substantial part of its time devoted to lab work, it’s a lab science.
Thanks for the help, and also is environmental science typically considered a “physical science”? @skieurope
Chem and physics would be physical sciences; environmental science would be a biological/life science
