2 summers as camp counselor

<p>I'm a first generation indian kid with a <$35k income bracket and a family of 5 I've also had a lot of family tensions hence the lower side GPA</p>

<p>What would be my chances for Johns Hopkins, Duke, Northwestern, UCLA, UC- Berkeley, Ohio State, University of Chicago, Washington U in St.Louis, and University of Pennsylvania</p>

<p>No to JHU, Duke, Northwestern, UCLA, Berkeley, Chicago, Wash U, and Penn. GPA and rank (I’m assuming) won’t make the cut.</p>

<p>IDK about Ohio State.Do yourself a favor- find some other good options.</p>

<p>but all my classes have been honors/AP and my GPA will go up this year to atleast a 3.6</p>

<p>what year are you? chicago could be a chance… and maybe duke… you need a really good reason for a low gpa though (i mean mine is a 3.4 and im looking at like vandy / usc as my highest reaches)</p>

<p>the only reason it’s low is because I had a lot of tensions in my family during freshman year. My parents were on the verge of a divorce and my mom lost her job. Also my GPA has a upward trend plus I go to one of the most competitive high schools in New York City. I’m a junior.</p>
