<p>I aspire to become a Doctor, and I dream of getting accepted into an Ivy League, or any other prestigious university that will help me gain the knowledge necessary to become the best Doctor I can be. But as a High School student I need good extracurriculars. What are some besides the played out volunteering at a Hospital? Thank you very much!</p>
<p>Being in your schools Honor Society looks good. Also if your school has a Key Club or any other club that is known for volunteer work</p>
<p>Hmmm… admission to the most select colleges usually gets those who have very clear ideas of what they want to do… not people, frankly, who are asking for advice on ECs to make them look like good candidates to Ivies as a pre-med student.</p>
<p>The single most important thing for you to be is a hungry scholar. Note that I said it’s something for you to be, not an activity to pursue. If you are one, the activities naturally follow.</p>
