what would colleges think about my 4 B

I’ve asked a similar question but I just wanted to be more specific. I am a senior and I took 5 AP classes and 2 honors classes this year. However, due to my illness, which I will describe in additional info and through counselor rec, i am going to end up with 3 A and 4 B. I want to go to Emory but I am afraid that my illness will ruin all the effort that I had put in from freshman to junior. I had 3.85 before the illness and 4 B makes my gpa go down to 3.71. I have 1400 on my SAT and I am hoping that I did better on the SAT this time. How would colleges, especially Emory, think about this grade drop? Would the fact that I took a rigorous classes and had a illness make it better? My illness is not super serious but it is severe enough to have an impact on my grades.

There is no way to know how any college will consider this info. No one on the boards works in Emory’s admissions office. You’ll just have to apply and wait like everyone else. If your GC writes about your illness it should help.
