<p>I don't mean this as if I were to accidentally select the wrong prompt, I mean this question as what would happen if my essay doesn't specifically answer the selected prompt, or any of the prompts. Say I chose Prompt 1 (background or story central to my identity) but instead of telling the story and why its so central to my identity, I send an essay about how I view myself and my potential self, which in turn reflects my identity. What would happen?</p>
<p>Admissions would see that they’re holding the application of a candidate that is unable to follow simple instruction. </p>
