What would have done differently on your application?

I got rejected from NU ED and my brother got rejected from Columbia ED too.

We both recognized that we did not emphasize our strengths and didn’t embellish as much as we could have…we were too modest.

My essay might need some work too…I thought it was good, it is good, but it as a really risky essay.

Maybe paid more attention to SAT II…the ONLY real blemish on my score was a low SAT II writing score

And I just realized I forgot to put you in the title.

What would YOU have done differently on your application?

maybe thats why I didnt get in..ahahahaha

written a bio SAT II... written better essays... I really don't know, I think I did the best that I could on everything.

My son forgot to mention the research he's doing in computer science next semester. He'd have probably said a couple of different things in his essays, too.

For one of my hobbies I put down mountain biking, but I forgot to mention that I am a sponsored rider as well.

ahhhhh.....at least I'm learning from my mistakes

I probably wouldn't do anything different. My app to my EA school was the best I could have made it, even if I had another month to do it. If I don't get in, then I could still say I put together my best stuff.

Lots more embellishments. For my hour listings, I could've stretched in at least 25% more hours overall. I definitely could've worked on my essay. Oh, and I really should've mentioned my going to ARML somewhere, but at least my math teacher mentioned it in her recommendation, so they'll probably catch it there.

Otherwise, my scores and GPA and whatnot are good stuff. But then again, I applied to Harvard. . .

Lied more. A LOT MORE!

Kidding. I would've gotten a better teacher recc. Mine said I was great, but she didn't write it very well. It sounded kind of stunted. Oh well.

I wouldve also applied to Michigan earlier
