Dream school... I think... experience is priceless :)

I'd take the money and never think about school again!

omg what happened all the CCers' philosophy of "attending the school for what it is and learning for the sake of learning" ........

smirks. ah... the power of money is incredible...

as i said before, i pick dream school

1 million dollars is not what it used to be. and is that 1 million before or after taxes?

When did anyone ever get anything after taxes? :)

It was a joke, dufus.

u guys are all need a reality check if you pick anything but the million.... you'd be set for a while if you did the right things with it and you could go to a different school.. it's all the same

a million bucks really isnt a lot in today's society... it wouldn't last 6 months for some people

Take the million, use it for college, and graduate to make more millions!

If only it was that easy.

For some people, yeah, a million wouldn't last long. If you're a smart with your money and lifestyle, you could milk that million for years and live a pretty good life, especially with that degree from your second-choice school :).

So was mine, fathomer.

There is actually a kind of Zeno paradox in the whole thing. If someone gave you money to pay your taxes, then you would have to pay taxes on the extra money they gave you to pay your taxes. Then if they gave you money to pay taxes on the money that they gave you to pay the taxes, you would have to pay money on that too, and so on ad infinitum. :)

I'm using the :) thingie more lately. I think people are being more tense as the admission cycle progresses. ..... :)

The million, please.

$1 million in the bank vs. my dream college with nightmare debt for the next 10-20 years?

Being 'po' (not poor), I'd vote for the ability to "buy" an education and happiness !!!

That's my reasoning, too.

$mil.. trade in the forex market and forget what the word "school" ever meant :)

yeah a million for sure, then you're finished with everything, a million could last a lifetime for some people
there is so much you could do with a million, if you use it carefully, you can get MORE money AND an education if you really wanted

:)
:):)

:)

dream schools are for geeeeeeks. wth dreams about school?

People without the million.......

Am I the only one here who believes that college is about more than setting oneself up to make money afterwards?

I mean, I'd still go to college if I had a billion dollars and would never have to work in my life. It's an experience. It's about growing as a person, not about making money.
