What would you consider a good ACT score for an average student?

Lol, I was thinking almost exactly the same thing yesterday.

Mensa and genius are whatever. I’m in MENSA and have an IQ above yours. That doesn’t mean you’re Ivy-league material, it just means you’re smart. Remember though: hard work beats natural talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Again, if you’re not a ■■■■■, good luck.

Have any heard EEP program in college, I am going to be interviewed next week in CA. The smart kids study in Univ with the same age group. That’s my other option. I was tested IQ at the University

Last time I called someone a ■■■■■, Oleger ripped me a new one. So, no comment on the on wastate’s recent posts.

@ wastate- If you are legitimate, you should really take it easy. Like firehose said, you do not impress CC with a 160+ IQ. Your 29 isn’t spectacular in eighth grade either. As a matter of fact, a kid at a nearby middle school supposedly got a 36. I don’t know if that is an inflated number, but just know you are smart. Nothing more, nothing less.

The most important advice I can give you is to stay humble. Whether it is the greatest athletes, scientist, or even actors, they all have one thing in common - humility. So just take it easy, use the gift you have, and make something out of yourself.

By the way, there is no reason to think about college in middle school. Except for course selection, it is just way to early to make educated decisions.

Enjoy high school. You only go once.

I’m telling truth here, it seems “newgolfer” didn’t understand that; I do not want get a extra teacher to tell me what to do in my life, just want to tell people, there are a lots of options in front of us, whatever i choose would be the best fit for me, not necessary for others. If you still don’t believe me that I am a 8th grader, keep talking about “■■■■■”, it’s your problem. I feel comfortable to talk here because I can tell truth here. I want to enjoy my life while learning as much as I could; do as much as one’s could for humankind in one’s limited time. What’s wrong with skipping high school, you gain something and you lose something, cannot be so greedy. It’s different experience from most of other people. Can you people think this in a different perspective? Why you have to live like “arranged time blocks”, you can always enjoy your time, middle school high school, and college life, For that purpose, skipping high school or even college, not important since there are a lots people are successful and enjoy their life without going to high school or college. I’d like to go my own way and let people talk. Time is change. learn and accept new things.
I do sports, play piano, and a member in my school band since I was 5th grade. I use my summer time to travel with my family, learn lots of things which you cannot find in a book in different countries we went. I am a honest person, even you mistaken it as not “humble” newgolfer- being honest is not equal to not “humble”; otherwise, how would you know I am.

^Is English your first language?

the third language

wastate, I said all of those things assuming you were being truthful. We are telling you to go to high school because we have experience in high school. You asked our opinions and you are getting them. If your mind is set on NOT going to high school, then we wont change it!

And I included the bit about humility because in your posts you came off as snobbish of your accomplishments. I understand that things can be misinterpreted on the internet so maybe I completely misread you.

I hope you go to high school. I promise you will enjoy your time MUCH more than college. Being 15 in college is socially crippling. You can take college classes for free while still being enrolled in high school. AND you get to develop into an adult with friends. But if youre dead set on going to college at fifteen, best of luck kid.

Btw, it’s "nw"golfer. not new. N.W. as in the initials for my school. NorthWest.

For an average student? How average? CC average or HS average?

27-28

Thank you all. I’m thinking all my options at this moment. I’ve decided by the end of March since my family has to pay the first deposit for the private high school. I’ll let you guys know. I know you guys trying to help me, thanks again!
