ok so I applied Early Action to a certain school of pharmacy, MCPHS (0-6) in MA, They were supposed to send something in the mail by Dec.19 and here it is Jan.7th with nothing yet whatsoever.
These are some of the explanations my parents have been telling me:

since I live in Toronto,Canada. it takes mail a bit longer from the US?
PS. My NEIGHBOR was rejected and she got her decision Dec.27th using FedEx

maybe because I sent my application (common app) a few hours b4 the deadline, the school will look at my app later than every1 else? (i really doubt it)

PS. I know for a fact that they received my application because i called the school a few days after the application deadline and they said that they got it.

The problem is now, what should i do? I tried calling the school but all they did was take my name and said that they would get back to me..I sent an Email to Admissions..What else should I do? Can i ask them to tell me straight up if I was accepted or not? on the phone or something??

WHAT SHOULD I DO, I've spent $ 200+ on this application alone and I'd be very dissapointed if they didn't even send a letter of rejection :(

Definitely try calling again. It's a busy time for admissions reps, and they've probably got a ton of work- but you have a right to talk to them and see what happened to your letter. It might have gotten lost in the mail, for instance, in which case they'll need to send out a new one. (And, yeah, they could probably tell you over the phone, if you wanted!)

Give them a call and let them know your concern. Tell them that you want to make sure that they have your correct mailing address in their system because you haven't received any information from them. Ask them if they can give you an update on the status of your application.

2 years ago my daughter's acceptance letter to her ED school was misdirected to the wrong state and returned to the institution due to a typo on the envelope. A week after she had expected to hear from the school, she did contact the admissions office--the woman was very apologetic and immediately emailed her acceptance letter to her, followed a few days later by another copy of the official letter via USPS. So, yes, mistakes and misdirected mail do happen--don't be afraid to call or email again and ask nicely.

I did exactly what you guys said and I called the school again..after a few hours the Admission lady called my and told me I was accepted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY

Did you get into their one like really good program? I know there is one of those, but MCPHS is usually where my school sends its 2.0 gpa/1400 sat-esque students.

YA Definitely call in they will tell you if you got accepted or not, my mark was 82% (gr.11 average) and my SATs were 1670, btw what part of Canada are you from? Toronto?
