Get down under a sturdy table or in a doorframe, cover your head and neck with your hands, and pray.

It depends on where I am and how big it is. If it’s less than 6, I sit there and then go on facebook to enjoy the reaction. If it’s more than 6 and I’m in a place with things that can fall, I would make sure that my head and neck are covered. If I’m at home, just sit through it then inspect the damage.

I don’t understand how people think there’d be enough time to panic so much.

I live in MD, maybe half an hour from DC. Most people reacted immediately after the earthquake last year by going on Facebook, myself included :P

I would cry.

Stand on my hands to protect my head.

East Coast Earthquake of August 2011
At first I thought it was just the garage door opening or something but then I realized that the whole house was shaking so my first instinct was to run to my older brother’s room and start screaming and crying. I legitimately thought I was going to die.

Yeah, I’m a little dramatic but it’s okay
