What would you do if you got accepted?

I got this from the Yale forum and thought I might post one for my EA choice.

If I got accepted, I would buy lunch at the local mexican resturant for all my friends, and we would have a semi-acceptance party. (I'm the only one that applied EA in the whole school).

Then, probably go crazy for the rest of the day. Finally, I would relax, take a deep breathe, and realize what I've done to get there.

i would cry and yell and scream for a really really really really long time.

well, in a recent dream, after being accepted, i played ddr while eating a grilled cheese sandwich. In reality, though, I would probably just sit there and enjoy a moment of complete happiness...wouldn't want any to seep out due to screaming or dancing ;-)

I would go outside and jump up and down for five minutes in the cold.

I would act like George Bailey at the end of "It's A Wonderful Life" and accost everyone with bear hugs.

I'd eat chocolate...but I alwz eat chocolate, so it's not such a big diff...Oh, and I'd do one of these : :)

play counter-strike like there's no tomorrow.

Rip up all my other applications, then do a little dance

i'd turn the lights off in my room, sit down, and listen to the final countdown

i'd rip up the rest of my applications and then buy lunch for everyone in NYC.

I'd stuff my face with Cheezits. And burn my application to Columbia.

I would immediately send them my deposit and start looking at dorms.

No joke =)

I'd go take a walk downtown, then sit in the park and relax for the first time in, well, a long time.

Then next friday, I'd have a party.

Then I'd go skiing over christmas and not have to worry about exams while I'm there.

Life would be awesome.

I will be glad for a few moments to know that I have secured my safety and then I will work on my more prestigous ivy applications.

In all honesty, I would make a t-shirt that says "UnCommonly Good" in honor of the uncommon application

In all honestly, I would make a T-shirt (in maroon, of course!) that says "Uncommonly Good" in honor of the Uncommon Application

haha... TheLorax- that's great! you could probably sell them online and make a few bucks. ;)

I would appreciate the few moments of self-congratulation i have before I am forced to look at the financial aid estimate...

then i would dream about chicago... and chicago style pizza... mmmmm...

kathryn07, you don't always dream about chicago style pizza? After I ran my 1st marathon last year, my friend and I went to this pizza place (famed for their great pies) and gorged. Then we went home and cooked two boxes of pasta that we consumed with beautiful amounts of black olives, olive oil, roasted red pepper, goat cheese and a basil-garlic pesto which we digested with over 15 cups, between the two of us, of wonderfully sweet, lemonade bought from the lemonade stand of a nearby 7 year old.

What a day...

Then I slept for 11 hours.

I have no idea why I just recounted that story.

I'm too busy worrying about rejection to plan for my possible celebration!

dearsiryes-- hahahaha... but what does that have to do with chicago style pizza (other than the fact that you ate it) ;)
but that pasta sounds really good right about now...

when dad and i went to visit uchicago for the columbus day open house, our mission the night before was to find a place that had good chicago style pizza. then on top of that, the bears had just won, so everyone around was really happy. it was exciting!
