i stole this from the penn forum. being optimistic, what would you do if you got in? i don't know about you guys, but i think about this a lot, get myself over-excited, and end up not being able to fall asleep.

assuming that we find out the 10th, a saturday, i would be at church all day until 1. i wouldn't be able to listen to the sermon, all i would talk about is the school and how much i love it, and i'd be a nervous mess all day.

i'll come home, run to my computer, and check my email. if i got in my first reaction would be to read the email again, shriek in delight, run around the house yelling "I GOT IN I GOT IN". i'd be smiling so much that day that my face would hurt.

if i didnt get it...i dont want to think about it.

I think this originated from yale's EA thread lol
I'd probably freeze in front of my computer until my computer goes into standby.. then i''ll stare at the blank screen while process the letter in my head.

I didn't go crazy or anything. I had received a likely letter from another Ivy the previous week, so the "I'm thrilled I won't have to attend a safety school" mentality was already gone. Your first good acceptance will probably be most memorable.
