u know judging by the responses, why the hell isnt this an essay question for the application? or why can't our school (princeton) have somewhat more creative questions like other places like chicago and northwestern or stanford where sometimes they even have kids suggest questions like im doing now... and y can't they do more things online and get a better website... >frustrated<

they DO have a choose your own question, unlike Stanford...
some essay topics sound cool but they aren't: the direct purpose is not to write something smart but to give a better idea of yourself... I don't know about you but "Tell us about yourself" gives many more opportunities to reveal myself than "What would you put in a time capsule", or other similar ones do.

That said, I would still love if I could do almost everything online: receive confirmations,
decisions etc... And I think they should be faster with email but oh well

deferred/rejected = convince myself that dartmouth is the cooler ivy, anyway
accepted = have my dad get me the giant stuffed tiger he promised me =)

I've never spent so much time around the mailbox as I have lately. I'd almost forgotten what mail looked like...before college brochures started flooding the box. Ugh.

If i were rejected, i'd start to prepare for Polish exams... and try next time, next year, but It would not be Princeton... It will be a college that have transfer admission.

What would You do if You got accepted. That's more motivating :)

I'd help in researches in neurobiology and microbiology in two of Polish institutes, and prepare for college [writing improvement, revising, and learning college material in science and humanities.]. Additionally, I would be helping my peers to get into univ :):):).
