<p>What would you do if you were on your computer/laptop at 3pm on Dec. 10th and you saw that you were admitted?</p>
<p>I don't even know what I would do...probably be in shock for a few hours
Then I'd cyber-burn the essays for all the other schools that I had 'prepared'</p>
<p>(Saw this on other forums and thought it would be a relief from all the nonstop chance threads)</p>
<p>I would be freaking out because I haven’t even sent my application to Penn yet. Lol</p>
<p>If, God willing, I am accepted into Penn this Friday, I will first cry out of happiness, ANNOUNCE THE WONDERFUL NEWS TO MY PARENTS, scream and put on my sneakers, run around the block screaming happily as if I were in a parade, run upstairs to my room, immediately pay the deposit and go on a UPenn apparel shopping spree! Then I would update my facebook status to this: </p>

<p>OH MY GOD, My body shivers out of happiness just thinking about this!</p>
<p>Nothing drastic, just sit in shock and utter disbelief that my college app process is finally over.</p>

<p>I will stare at it in disbelief, read it over and over to make sure I am actually accepted, then try very hard to contain my excitement and not scream, I will attempt to keep it a secret till the evening, when I can make a proper grand announcement to my parents. I have the perfect plan. Also I will refrain from doing any schoolwork on friday, and play madden 11 the whole day. Thats the dream.</p>

<p>How about we all congregate at some central location and have a celebration!</p>
<p>I don’t think I would ever cry over something like this, I mean it would probably be the happiest moment of my short life, but I couldn’t shed tears over it, like happy tears that is.</p>
<p>I would keep quite and plan something for 5 days.</p>
<p>Then blast my parents with a special “thank you” surprise for being with me these through the ups and downs. :D</p>
<p>Then I’d print my essays that I wrote for many many schools and burn them. Literally. :D</p>
<p>I 99% won’t get in, but this is exactly how I would react:</p>
<p>Read that I got in, faint.</p>
<p>Wake up 2 hours later, check again, and probably say something along the lines of “HOLY FUCDKHJFOKSKJFSLDFCK I GOT IN.” </p>
<p>Then I’d call my parents and the conversation would go like this:
Me: “You owe me $200,000 dollars”</p>
<p>Parent: "What?</p>
<p>Me: “I’ll let you connect the dots”</p>
<p><em>Hang up</em></p>
<p>Then the phone will ring 30 seconds later with a happy parent.</p>
<p>Lastly, I’d go online and join the Pen15 group on Facebook and wait for one of my friends to notice I joined it.</p>
<p>But I won’t get in, so none of the above will ever happen. :(</p>
<p>^LOL that is EXACTLY what I would do! And my chances are about the same as yours…haha</p>
<p>@jordancohen I would probably post the exact same thing- that is of course after running around my house jumping up and down. Then since my parents don’t get home until late I would figure out a plan to surprise them, maybe cook them a dinner of some sort. Then I’ll be playing FIFA and working out the rest of the school year =)</p>
<p>hahahha… i think i would cry. actually hahahaha. it’s weird to think that whether or not i get in, i’m probably going to end up crying cause its probably going to be a super overwhelming moment for me. @___@</p>
<p>and then i would treat myself to a nice dinner and go shopping with friends cause its THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL BEFORE BREAK YESSSSSS. </p>
<p>god, dec 10 can either be a GREAT day or a day from hell.</p>
<p>there’s no chance i’m getting in, but i’d definitely cry and laugh and scream and be thankful for the rest of my life.</p>

<p>I agree blueee! I think UPenn’s bookstore will make upwards over $300,000 in sales on Friday night.</p>
