What would you do in this situation..scary

So, I absolutely bombed the SAT's, got around a 1530 my first time, then a 1680 my second time (mind you this is after 9 months of intense studying, book tests, etc.) But, I think that I did really well on my subject tests that I took on dec. 2nd (and i have a good rank/gpa/Xtracurrics, etc.) Do you think that, let's say, I got 700+'s on SAT subject scores that that would outweight the bad sat scores; or would schools like Northwestern just reject you w/sat scores that low(even w/good subject scores?)

Thank you so much!

northwestern will reject you because of your SAT I scores. this is for sure.

take it again....1530 on the new scale....is not that good.......not to sound like an a-hole or intentionally hurt anyone...but it's pretty hard to get in to schools with 1530...espeically northwestern.....get tutoring or help...because soemthing obviously is not clicking if you do so well in normal subjects....believe been there...i think my freshman year psat score was around that.......don't give up!!!!

I hate myself b/c I had one last chance in DEC to improve, and I totally screwed it.

Jeremy, be happy you even have another chance.

I don't think it is reasonable to think they would take you as even with a good gpa and EC's that score is a bit of a red flag. It might call into question your rigor of classes at your current school.

they won't reject you based on your SAT scores. Just apply!

If you have money to spare for the application fee and transcripts and score sending, then apply. But do not expect to get in.

Certainly you can give it a shot. However, SAT is too low for admission. Consider some other more realistic choices. Good luck!

take it again after getting help from a tutor

maybe you aren't studying the right way, see , even after you studied, your scores didn't improve much. Get help !
